North Korean hackers invade Daewoo shipbuilding data center or stolen warships

South Korea's opposition MP said Tuesday that North Korea could steal South Korea's warships design in April last year after the invasion of Daewoo Shipbuilding (042660.KS) database.

South Korea and other areas of hacking incidents often involve North Korea, but North Korea either ignored or denied.

"We can almost 100% sure that North Korean hackers are behind the scenes and steal the company's sensitive documents," said Kyung Dae-soo, the free Korean party, by Reuters on the phone.

Daewoo Shipbuilding made several Korean warships, including a Aegis class warships and some submarines.

Kyung said the South Korean Ministry of Defense is responsible for investigating cybercrime cases found in the subordinate branch of the hacker invasion. He was informed of the briefing of the survey.

He said that the degree of theft of the document and its classification is not clear, because the investigation team was not disclosed.
