Russia Novatek and China National Petroleum Group signed a strategic cooperation

Russia Novatek and China's state-owned enterprises - China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC, China National Petroleum Group) on Wednesday signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Leonid Mikhelson, chairman of Novatek, and Wang Yilin, chairman of China National Petroleum Group, signed the agreement at the Great Hall of the People. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang attended the signing ceremony.

Novatek also signed a memorandum of understanding with the China Development Bank on a wide range of cooperation.

Russia's Vneshekonombank has signed a $ 3 billion framework credit agreement with the Export-Import Bank of China.
