The United States imposed sanctions on 13 Chinese and North Korean businesses and individuals on Tuesday accusing it of helping North Korea evade its nuclear restrictions on the country and supporting the country through trade.
The day before the U.S. Treasury Department announced the above action on its website, President Trump reintroduced North Korea into the list of countries that supported terrorism.
The new sanctions show that the Trump administration is focusing on cracking down on trade between China and the DPRK as the key to forcing North Korea to abandon the development of a nuclear bomb capable of hitting the United States.
