Bitcoin broke the $ 10,000 mark for the first time on the BitStamp trading platf

Bitcoin rose to a record high of $ 10,000 on the BitStamp trading platform on Wednesday.

Bitcoin hit a high of $ 10,069.12 in the BitStamp trading platform in Luxembourg. In other smaller trading platforms, Bitcoin has already broken the $ 10,000 mark.

So far this year, bitcoin soared more than 900%, the highest gains in all asset classes in the first place, driven by the expansion of financial and mainstream acceptance.
