Trump fears no disruption in the Middle East Hegemony competing

U.S. President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as "the capital of Israel" has caused a rebound in the international community and opposition from allies in Europe and the Middle East. Jerusalem affiliation is the most sensitive issue in the Middle East. Trump supported Israel and feared that the world would not chaos and the end of the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Trump's change of diplomatic stance in the Middle East for decades, one of the factors prompting election campaign promises, is also closely linked to the "hegemonic contention" in the post-ISIS era. Trump's unsubstantiated cards add a lot of variables to the geopolitical situation in the world. However, his bent on cutting corners will further weaken the U.S. global leadership. The so-called "Pax Americana" may have come to an end.

Judaism, Islam and Christianity regard Jerusalem as the holy city. The question of the attribution of Jerusalem should start with the beginning of the last century. After the First World War, Britain occupied Jerusalem and Palestine, infiltrating a large number of Jews. After World War II, the Western powers split the land of Palestine into two parts, allowing Israel to establish a nation and triggering the first Middle East war. After the war, the city of Jerusalem divided into two halves. Israel belonged to the west and the Arabs to the east. Until the Middle East war resumed in 1967, Israel occupied the Palestinian areas such as the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem. Israel has always considered Jerusalem as its capital, but it has not been recognized internationally. The Palestinians are striving to establish their country and they also want Jerusalem as their capital. In 1993, the United States made good offices with Israel and Palestine and concluded Oslo and the peace talks. They hope that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will be resolved and the Palestinian people will eventually become a nation. The ownership of Jerusalem will become the core issue of peace talks in the future.
