Golden Eagle Business Jiangsu Province, 7-Eleven franchise to enter the 20-year

China's department store operator Golden Eagle Group (3308.HK) announced Wednesday that it has acquired a 20-year franchise from 7-Eleven in Jiangsu Province to formally enter the convenience store business after its commercial retail and supermarket businesses.

Golden Eagle Business's press release said that as a result of common optimistic about the development of the Yangtze River Delta convenience stores, the United States on January 30 (China) Investment Co., Ltd. on November 30 formally granted to the Group wholly-owned subsidiary of Nanjing Golden Eagle Convenience Store Management Co., Ltd. Jiangsu Province 7-Eleven's franchise, the authorization period is from November 2017 to November 2037. Both parties signed the authorization agreement today.

Jiangsu Province 7-Eleven plans to open the first batch of stores in the first half of next year, will initially be developed in Nanjing as the center, and thereafter increase the number of stores.
